Nosecone Prophets

Small town band Started in 1991 by Justin(guitar and vocals) and Brendan(bass guitar vocals). Nosecone Prophets began in Justins bedroom on Scoggins Street with Justin and Brendan writing songs,no band name and no drummer..Went through a couple of names until we finally decided on "Nosecone Prophets" in 1993,and with the addition of a high school friend, Jason Mitchell on drums in Late 93 early 94,we were officially a band..It is garage rock/punk music.Fronted by Justin Browns raw, aggressive guitar riffs and shredding solos,that blend well with songs about real shit and Grunge worthy grainy vocals. They toured and wrote a hundred songs with that lineup for 7 years until splitting and pursuing other musical projects all with great local success. Brendan with Driver 8,and Jason with Unseen Stimuli! After a long hiatus,Nosecone Prophets came back stronger than ever in 2005 with drummer,Shawn Rubi and his brutal "Cut time" rhythm . Long time Nosecone friend and fan Justin Goodridge joined on bass for the Methfire Mishap album which reached "local legend" status with song like "Methfire Mishap""Brainsout""Drama Day""Bullshit Story". . 2009 the band was in need of a bass player and fortunately picked up the current bass player Bradley Crow..He jumped in the saddle quick and soon became the lightning bolt ..High energy performances and veteran like stage presence was a definite spark of life and energy for the band and their new direction. 2010/2011 after a year of touring the Methfire Album over and over we headed into the studio to record "The Liars ,The Dopeheads and the Hipsters".. Quickly catching the attention of the surrounding locals in the Chattanooga and Rome area,with songs like "The Blur""Stole My Guitar"My Enemy",we were picked up by a local Chattanooga Record Label Unsane Asylum Records and pulled a song from "Liars...." album for an international split with local Scottish legends,Shatterhand...
