About RSJ
Formed in late 2002, RSJ set about constructing heavy noise metal that would not only destroy even the most hardened of eardrums but also annihilate any stage that would be naive enough to take them.
Their aggressive high energy live shows have earned them sponsorship from ESP Guitars, Bolt Streetwear and tours with such luminaries as Funeral for A Friend, Minus, Orange Goblin, Raging Speedhorn, Murder One, Biohazard and a London support with US metalcore champions, Unearth.
After both the success of 2004's 'Blueprint for a Brighter Future' and regular Scuzz TV airplay (for the promo video of 'Reborn'), RSJ gained there first stateside release on a compilation titled 'Raw Aggression' through Rotting Corpse Records.
September 2005 saw the York four-piece release their first full length debut album titled 'Reflections in B Minor' through Copro Records. Produced by Dave Chang at Philia Studios the 12 track has already gained stunning reviews from both the mainstream and street-level media.
2006 saw RSJ embark on a storming full UK tour with Australian grind-masters 'The Berzerker' building the bands growing fanbase and once again gaining more flawless reviews from publications such as 'Terrorizer', 'Powerplay' and 'Kerrang! Magazine'. With a feature in the 'incoming' section of 'Metal Hammer' and their album appearing in the 'Kerrang! decks of doom' writers playlist, RSJ embarked on a headlining UK MINI TOUR in August 06. Another live review in 'Kerrang! Magazine' followed, giving the band '4K's' for their incendiary live performance. The future's brighter - the future is RSJ. You have been warned!!
