I hadn’t seen Angel before but I’d found out about her music through a friend and once I got started listening I couldn’t stop. Her lyrics are mesmerising and heartbreaking and soul soothing all at once. It’s rare that bands can surpass your expectations of them but she did! Her presence on stage was delightful, she gave the perfect amount of hilarious chat and made us all feel warm at fuzzy by the end. The sound was incredible and at many times you could hear a pin drop, you know you’ve captured an audience when that happens. I also loved the colourfulness of the ensemble and the cover song they played at the end. An incredible gig, thank you!!

Thw Wild Hearts Tour is this summer's best musical offering with Julien Baker and Sharon van Etten. Massey Hall is a really nice venue where any seat can be ideal. So tempting to go to the additional show!

Nice new venue/space for Austin. Glad to see it though temps over 100 degrees are not fun for outdoor shows. It kind of killed the energy for me and seemingly for plenty of others. Sharon, Angel, Julien and Quinn all sounded great and added cute/funny comments throughout the evening. As with so many outdoor shows though, the evening lacked atmosphere. I enjoyed Angel’s last tour so much more. The lighting, wardrobe, setlist…all were better. With so many people on the bill last night, each set seemed way too short. There were songs I just knew Angel and Sharon would play…but they didn’t. I’m glad I went, and, again, everyone sounded wonderful…but I still felt that a little something special was missing.

I never saw her on stage before, and it was not impressive, guess she is much better alone than with a band. I am sorry I did not see her before, and will follow her closer now, for sure.

Angel and her band killed it!!! They put on the best live show I’ve seen in a long time. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the great opening set by Heron Oblivion. They have a new fan!

She’s a wonderful singer and they have a great chemistry between them all! I loved watching them!!

Seen her three times over the last three years. Her shows have become far better balanced with slow older songs and her recent rockers. Her voice cuts through everything and everyone. Basically it was the best of the times I've seen her. Super rad she sold out two nights in Austin!

Amazing show but she was tired. Night prior in pdx was a 5. she went from that show to Seattle then to KEXP for an insession. Angel needs her sleep :)

Amazing but I don't understand why she opened for Swans. The two styles of music couldn't be more different. Wish she had just played her own show at a smaller venue.
