About Sawblade
Founded in 2008, Sawblade is a modern metal band from Poland. The band released its first EP in 2011. The debut LP, REMINISCENCE, recorded in Warsaw's Sound Division Studio and produced by Filip 'Heinrich' Hałucha (Vesania, ex-Decapitated, ex-Rootwater, ex-Unsun), was released at 07.02.2014. The album took influences from each of the band members, including thrash metal, progressive, stoner metal, groove metal and death, and joined them together in a modern, melodic metalcore framework.
The second studio album, SOVEREIGNTY, was released in August 2018. It was recorded at Heinrich House studio with help of Filip Hałucha and mixed and mastered at Hertz Studio by Wiesławski Brothers. Fitting in the modern metal niche, Sovereignty sees more focus on death, groove and djent influences.
