Generation Underground is a heavy metal band formed in 2014 by Mike Florentine later joined by Steve Wellz & Jared Seliber. As the winner of the Akademia best rock song of February2020, they have had the privilege of sharing the stage with bands such as Lorna Shore, Slaughter To Prevail, Chelsea Grin, Escape The Fate, Doyle from the Misfits, Spite, Attila, Drowning Pool, Cattle Decapitation, Powerman 5000, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, Nonpoint, Shadow Of Intent, Carnifex, Bodysnatcher, Orthodox, Enterprise Earth, Hed Pe, The Word Alive, Traitors and more. In addition to these accolades, they have accumulated over 77,000 views on our YouTube channel along with having 31,000 monthly listeners per month on Spotify. Drawing further on their success thus far, they have found moderate success in the radio industry by securing rotation slots, and promotion from Sirius XM, college and terrestrial radio alike.
