With a sound often compared to rock institutions like T-Rex, the Pixies and Bowie, bloom made national headlines this year by racking up a mountain of positive reviews for their album “O’Sinner”. The record was produced by Brian Paulson (Beck, Wilco, Husker Du). The band turned heads at this year’s SXSW, solidifying their reputation as a standout pop/rock act in an oversaturated garage rock scene. Bloom spent a great deal of their time in the past year on the road. Along the way they shared stages with Guided by Voices, the Mooney Suzuki, the Dears, Moving Units, Rouge Wave, Suicide Girls, Urge Overkill, Mellowdrone and the Blue Van. Keep your eye out for bloom on the new season of MTV’s The Real World Austin.

Hungarian:
The band was established in Körösladány, Békés county, in March 2007, although the real estabslihment was the time when we began to rehearse. The name of our band is delusive because our music doesn't reflect softness, rather tries to express the diversity of our music, as bloom is colourful and unique.
Our music embraces the style of modern metal music and at the same time it comprises the old, traditional metal bands sound style. If you imagine the mixture of Slipknot, Korn, Soulfly, Machine Head, Static- X and the old Sepultura, you will get the taste of our music. If you add some of our own conseptions, a little elektro and hip-hop base, you will get the style of our band.
We hope our music will appeal to a lot of people. We had some difficulties, and we have to face subsequent problems in the future, but we do our best and make you go wild.
