Ashes Befall

As an upcoming band in this generation of music, we are Ashes Befall. A 5 piece line up, consisting of: Sebastian French – Singer, Kyle Pover – Lead Guitarist, Samuel Owen – Rhythm Guitarist, Harris Shallcross – Bassist and Andrew Smith – Drummer. Unlike many bands of this era, we provide metal style songs with a strong bass driven sound, and while this may seem unconventional, achieving powerful sounding tunes could not be done without the chunky riffs provided by the guitar; both clean and distorted at times! Situated in the heart of Cheshire, England predominantly in a town called Crewe, we’ve been classed as “Crewe's brightest rock/metal prospects”, a name not given lightly by the main organisers of the Crewe music scene. The formation of Ashes Befall arose during the early days of 2011 when the final member, Harris joined to complete the 5 piece line up where the band went to write their first songs worthy of making it to the final set and proceeded to play their first gig within a few weeks of completing the line up, meanwhile having had much experience in the gigging field around the local areas of Cheshire and Staffordshire. With haste and virtue, the band then went on to form their first EP named “Find Me”, composed equally by the members of the band, ranging from the exuberant riffs of “Take It”, to the conscientious lyrics of “Planetary Devastation”. With the band advancing, more and more original material is being written, bringing an explosion of creative, elegant and energetic songs, sure to get you bobbing along!
