About The Honey Dewdrops
The Honey Dewdrops
Virginia natives, Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish of The Honey Dewdrops began touring in 2009 and have highlighted the power and intimacy of two voices and two instruments in both live performances and recordings in their 18+ years of making music together. Laura and Kagey constantly push the boundaries of their experimental folk sound—blending electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin and clawhammer banjo—while weaving in tight vocal harmonies.
No Depression says of their music “The Honey Dewdrops have a way of filling their songs with humanity, using their beautiful playing and harmonies to emphasize what connects us all.”

The Honey Dewdrops were fabulous! We first saw them 12 years ago at the Wintergreen Music Festival. They have evolved and matured greatly since then. We're glad that they've chosen Staunton for their home. We hope to see them many times in the future.

Fabulous! We first saw them about ten years ago at the Wintergreen Music Festival. We have followed them over the years. They were amazing then & even better now!

Absolutely phenomenal show! Beautiful melodies and vocals and instrumental playing. This was a birthday gift to myself and have been trying to see them LIVE since 2009 and finally crossed it off my bucket list. Worth the wait for sure!
