Viara Ivanova

Originally from Burgas, Bulgaria Viara is a singer-songwriter, currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. Viara has been writing songs and performing solo, and in bands since she was 15. She'd been involved in different musical projects,both in Bulgaria and the UK, before relocating to Edinburgh, UK in 2007 to pursue a music education and opportunities to perform - solo and in bands. In 2008 she co-founded WYMN. The band recorded an EP and toured with various success in the UK, Bulgaria and Portugal, receiving great comments and some label interest, including from EMI-Portugal. Viara is a recent graduate from the BA(Hons) Applied Music from The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and working as a freelance musician, songwriter and educator.
