With a career spanning 18 years, they have crafted a unique sound blending black metal, post-metal, and hardcore, creating a dark and immersive musical experience. Their journey began with the EP "Pessimiste(s)" in 2006, followed by albums like "Nihiliste(s)," "Misanthrope(s)," and "Morte(s) Née(s)." In 2013, the double album "Animale(s)" garnered praise from Pitchfork and others, establishing them in the French extreme metal scene.

In 2017, "Infidèle(s)" unveiled new depths of darkness. Known for their intense live shows, CELESTE immerses the audience in darkness, strobes, and headlamp beams. They joined Nuclear Blast and released "ASSASSINE(S)" in 2022, earning acclaim for its richness.
