About A-Mase

A-Mase was born Anthony Mason in Baltimore, Maryland. A-Mase was going through some hard times with sports. Getting kicked off of his teams took away any chance of having a basketball career. A-Mase decided to go with the other love of his life. He was good at it to, that love was music. He was 14 years old when he realized that music was the way for him to go. This was when he recorded the hit "Livin' It Up." Livin' It Up became an instant hit within his peers and community. Growing up a military brat, A-Mase was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel around the globe. With that being said, traveling is good when you try to network. Living in South Korea, Anthony decided to take up music. A-Mase also loves to perform and network his music and image; that helps him to obtain the exposure he is looking for. He continues to perform locally to hone his skills. Now A-Mase is deciding to aim a bit higher; he sets goals to perform for famous DJ's. 4 years later, A-Mase now is not only double the artist he was before, but continues to produce hits after hits! "A Girl Named Trina," is the new best thing that A-Mase has released. Releasing on September 26, 2013, Trina had unsurprisingly boosted A-Mase's fanbase. Constantly looking for airplay, blog interviews, features, and promotion for Trina, A-Mase refuses to let this song be another song in the past. "The only way to succeed is to take the ladder of success to the top. The only way to climb that ladder is to take one step at a time. And the only way to take one step at a time is to focus on that step and don't take your eyes off, because then your asking to fall right back where you started," is a quote that A-Mase lives by. So putting all of that into perspective; mainstream airplay for Trina is at the top. Recording, promotion, networking, etc, are all of the steps. "I love music, I actually connect to the artist and the lyrics versus just listening to it." says A-Mase personally. Anthony is that type of guy that looks at life in a totally diverse way. It always seems as though he is the odd one out-- that no one can ever really seem to come to an agreement with his way of life. "Perspective is the most important aspect to life when it comes to one's understanding." quoted from A-Mase's most recent blog (What do you see.) Anthony's culture is unique. Because in his past no one EVER took him seriously, it is safe to say...that was their first mistake. The Young King himself, A-Mase brings to you loyalty. CEO of YKF, and a young mogul, he is on his way to pure greatness. Don't wait until it's too late.
