Sean Rowe

He is totally amazing and his music and voice is perfect. He touches my soul and makes me cry with happiness, his lyrics are clever and touches my soul.

Was awesome. Sean was very friendly and a shame we weren't more people but the atmosphere was the best to enjoy him with the lyrics and the way he plays the guitar

Fantastic performance by a great musician in a very intimate and personal venue. The room was filled with Sean's moving guitar, vocals and harmonica playing. Not only did Sean play his own songs but he slipped in a couple of covers such as Hurt recorded by Johnny Cash (written by Nine Inch Nails) and Pancho and Leftie, recorded by Willie Nelson and others (written by John Townes Van Zandt). Of course, Sean delivered a tremendous version of "To Leave Something Behind" (which featured in the excellent Ben Affleck film 'The Accountant'). All in all, a wonderful evening in a special venue.

The Sean Rowe concert was exceptional. He is such an incredible songwriter and his voice is like no other! It was just him, his harmonica and guitar. He is such an awesome musician, I would see him again in a heartbeat!

Golly, what a fantastic show in such an intimate and real setting. It was the first time I had seen Sean. In 2021, I was on a cross-country road trip with my dog, and "Squid Tatoo" came on the NPR station. I didn't catch his name, but when I arrived home, after 3 months, I couldn't get that tune outta my head, so I went searching. Lo and behold I found "Squid Tatoo, and all of his other great, and soulful music. He's one of my favorites. Looking forward to catching another show at Cravin Gravy in the future. Portland's best-kept secret. Thank you one and all!

Sean never disappoints. If he comes to your town, go see him. Better yet, have him come on over for a house concert show. Great show in Syracuse.

This was my third time seeing Sean perform and he never disappoints. The venue was very nice and intimate. I had an amazing time. Thanks.

Poorly attended, but he played like he had a full house. Wonderfully frenetic renditions of Joe’s Cult and Nick Cave’s Red Right Hand, followed by the single best version I’ve ever heard of Leonard Cohen’s Everybody Knows.

A bright spot in a cloudy world, Sean never disappoints. "The Very First Snow" was great with the backdrop of the Christmas lights.

Great gig. New songs sounded ace! Somehow didn’t know the venue had changed- and neither did Bandsintown! Missed the beginning....

Bring Sean to the Dakota! He deserves a bigger audience and since Vieux Carré is only a partnership away from Dakota, it's natural that they build on this incredible artist. Last Wednesday he brought the house down. Spread the word "Current"...get current.

What a show! Sean Rowe had a great mix of old and new songs, originals and covers. Partnering that with his wit and storytelling, he nailed it!

Get this man a band! Sean plays with a broad emotional canvas borrowing from folk, country, rock, blues. He was making some of it up as he went along, working out upcoming material For his next album. He tipped his hat to the likes of Richard Thompson and Johnny Cash. He’s got a lot of energy, groovy deep bassy voice and really got fired up as he progressed. The barn is an intimate, cozy venue too. Felt right at home.

Sean Rowe played his 🎸 and sang in his deep baritone voice a nice variety of tunes. He is so talented and entertaining! The evening flew by and before we knew it, we were roaring with approval of his performance, everyone on their feet, hoping he would play just one more tune for us. He did. He stayed afterward in the lobby to meet and greet fans, sign CDs and albums which was so great. He has a great sense of humor which was apparent when told a few stories about his young son. Overall a wonderful way to spend a summer evening in the valley, listening to a songwriter and singer who I really admire in an outstanding venue in reasonably priced seats.

Sean's latest album, New Lore, is deftly arranged with backing instruments, only exceeded by seeing him perform live. The Word Barn was a perfect space to hear Sean solo!
