Queen Anne's Revenge is the song-writing partnership of Findlay Napier and Nick Turner.

Findlay Napier was first electrocuted on April 17th, 1987. This unexpected and unwelcome voltage may well have accelerated the musical split that had begun at Grantown High School. Whilst Dr Jekyll went on to be one of the rising stars of the Scottish traditional music scene, playing with his critically acclaimed and award-winning band “Back of the Moon”, Mr Hyde developed an interest in RnB.

His workshops in guitar and song at festivals; his tutoring at numerous Feisean; even his international touring with 'Back Of The Moon' have all started to include work from his suppressed other-self. It is safe to say that Queen Anne's Revenge is more Mr Hyde's cup of tea.

Nick Turner is getting old. Like most sentient beings he craves the use of a younger body as a vehicle for earthly ambitions he was unable to complete in his own cycle.

As owner of Watercolour Music for the past twelve years, he has recorded and produced a host of critically acclaimed CDs and has worked with a huge array of Scottish musical talent. Along with the vague memories of his pop music youth, his management, production and writing skills were sharpened on Highland acts like Jim Hunter and The Lush Rollers. With so many young and gifted artists moving though the studio; it was only a matter of time before he found a willing partner.
