Batboner

Press release: Batboner builds on the tradition started by bands like Christian Death and Bauhaus in the late 70s. The music can be described as avant garde punk, but is sometimes esoterically called deathrock. The four-headed bat member is not afraid of, nor lets itself be stopped by, this genre denomination. The music itself is what's important and every musical bit that fits inside their broad vision might be used and abused. A key ingredient in their sound is the use of multiple melodies and riffs laid on top of each other. This creates a complex catchiness unique to the genre. The band, started by Yod Amygdala (guitar) and Eric Vanity (vocals) in 2009, has found a stable line up with In Absentia Dei (bass) and Zonetripper (drums). Deathrock band from Oslo, Norway.
