About Porcelain Pistols
Formed in October 2010 in Southern California, the Porcelain Pistols began as a four-piece band: eVee Musgrave (vocals), Rich Lopez (drums), Chuy Sandoval (guitar), and Jaime Molinar (guitar). With each member's experience in songwriting and performance, as well as their diverse musical influences, the band quickly combined metal, hard rock, and alternative into a sound that was both unique and compelling.
Soon after their formation, the Porcelain Pistols released their self-titled EP, followed by a series of performances throughout Southern California. In 2014, they released their debut full-length album, The Silence and the Fury. The band supported the album with both live full-band and acoustic performances, showcasing their versatility and range.
In 2019, the Porcelain Pistols decided to challenge themselves both creatively and musically by adding a fifth member: bassist Lelo Rodriguez. With Rodriguez's solid basslines and deep musicality, the band's sound solidified and matured.
With their new lineup and a fresh perspective, the Porcelain Pistols began writing new music, drawing inspiration from bands like Chevelle, Tool, Deftones, Mastodon, and Guano Apes. Their new material is a blend of heavy guitars, soaring vocals, and catchy melodies, with a unique sound that is all their own.
In late 2023/early 2024, the Porcelain Pistols plan to release a series of consecutive singles on all digital platforms. They are also eager to return to the live stage in 2024, bringing their dynamic music and creative talent to a whole new audience.
The Porcelain Pistols are a band on the rise. With their unique sound, talented musicians, and dedicated work ethic, they are poised to make a major impact on the music scene in the coming years.
