Alestorm

Surely the best live band on the planet. But undoubtedly the best pirate metal drinking crew ever to have graced our fair waters. I would go see them again in a heartbeat. Patty Gurdy is a fantastic addition, hope the band has decided to make her a permanent fixture.

A fun time was had by all. The crowd showed up for a P.A.R.T.Y. and that was what was had! Perth band Kimura got the event off to a raucous start and then Nekrogoblikon and Alestorm kept the crowd entertained - energised - and involved. Great fun. Great music. And the fantastic Patty Gurdy was there too :-)

I hadn’t seen Alestorm in several years and they did not fail to disappoint! The concert was lots of fun. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. The circle pits were great for all 3 bands. Can’t wait to see them again! Be careful with them crocodiles!!! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🤪🤫

The most enjoyable concert I’ve been to in a long time. The opening bands were very good and Alestorm was outstanding! Sure, the whole pirate theme is kind of a gimmick I guess - but the band is so talented and the songs are so fun. I will see them again in the future with every opportunity!

Alestorm were absolutely brilliant again!!! My son really enjoyed it too, they are always great fun to watch. Only down sides of the show which was nothing to do with the bands on stage is how cold the venue is if you are standing at the back which I had to do as my son is autistic. The other negative point is the amount of vaping!!!

Put on a fun show but the bass was way too high and drowned out a lot of music. Up front was almost unbearable. Great crowd and energy otherwise. Gloryhammer was a highlight.

Show was fantastic all 3 bands killed it, I wish the Fillmore had cut off ticket sales at a point though because it was to crowded to get to the pit.

Had a really fun time. All of these guys put on a really great show. Would love to see them again. Managed to get the setlist for Alestorm!

Alestorm is every bit as fun as you imagine it would be! Got to meet Christopher Bowes out front of the venue as he was talking, taking pictures and giving signatures to any fans leaving that would ask. Very awesome fun guy and I'm so happy I was able to be at this show!

It has been a long time since they last played here. 2019? As always, both bands put on a lively, fun, and personalized show. Unlike lots of guitar-based bands, you can actually distinguish their songs from one another because all instruments and voices can be heard. Their songs are upbeat, laden with chantable choruses, that causes the audience to punch the air and hoot in unison. And, man, can their shared lead vocalist sing! I didn't understand why a lot of the audience left after Gloryhammer. To me, they are like twins.

It was amazing, sold out for a reason. Great music, great crowd, very packed though, getting a beer took like 30 minutes, water cost as much as beer... The people were really nice and the moshpit was great. The bands gave a great show, incorporating the crowd sometimes and music was great anyway, even better than the songs online. There was a goblin. No comment needed. 10/10

When you can get a crowd to mosh for 5hrs during a heatwave on a monday night, you know it's been a good party! Dragonsmead & Rumahoy were fucking great openers and the boys from Scotland have a killer live set going! Don't miss these bastards!

First time to see Glory Hammer and was impressed. Alestorm were as good as ever. Wonderful to see them live. Sworn to the Sword are a great opening act.

GLORYHAMMER!!!! Best show of the year! Alestorm is always a treat and never lets you down. Adavant is the best local Phx band around folks! If you don’t know them, get to know them!

An incredible concert. Alestorm were absolutely fantastic and they played an amazing set and afterwards Chris, Elliot and Máté were around to meet fans and overall the entire concert was great fun.

I went with my friends in Aberdeen but sadly i had to go because i had a panic attack:( so i never ended up seeing Alestorm or Sabaton and only one song from blood bound but my mates met alestorm after the gig and said they were really nice so i imagine it was good:)

it was quite entertaining. alestorm had a very entertaining and fan interactive show. great song selection. openers Crimson Shadows and Gypsyhawk work excellent but Trollfest had much to be desired. I don't like that band. another complaint is that the sound mixing for alestorm was overbearing and hard to discern the intricities of their music. if youre into this style of metal the show was great. I had a fun enough time
