Balsam Range

It was a great show! Their last song Ruby made the crowd rumble! The sound and quality of their show is very good, they engage with the audience, we enjoyed very much our evening!

Great show, but the sound guy seemed to have a tough time getting the vocals for BR set. Otherwise, as usual a great show.

Beautiful setting for a fine group of musicians. Couldn’t have written a better set list albeit show was a bit shorter than anticipated. Can’t wait til next chance to see my favorite band take the stage!

Great event ! Long time Balsam Range fan, but WOW, even more so now. Aside from the concerts, if general admission seating is available it needs to be designated to an area and plainly marked. I had to ask someone to move, and the same was heard several times. Either people were just finding the best seat and taking a chance or maybe (doubtful) they didn't know. I'm not sure what site was used to secure tickets but an option for "two day" tickets in the same seats would be nice. During the time we selected day one and two someone had gotten the seat.

Wow what an energetic, fun and wonderful show! The best I have seen of this great group! Alan Bibey is a superb addition! They harmonize like never before! I’ve never heard them sound any better than what they did last night! Can’t wait to see what 2024 holds for this wonderful concert “Art of Music”

Balsam Range was such a blessing! I hope they know it! Several outbreaks of applause and a standing ovation from the South Dakota let them know they were thoroughly enjoyed! The show started out with the introduction of “I hope this is the First Annual Balsam Range Concert in Pierre SD!” The rest of us were in agreement as we went to our homes! Great job, gentlemen. Please come again!

Everything about the festival was great except they didn’t sell any wine. They sold plenty of beer but no wine. Not everyone can drink or even like beer. Next year I hope they bring the wine back.

Balsam Range was excellent as always. The vineyard owner may have gotten a bit too enthusiastic to be back on the stage at the end of the show. Her interuption prevented them from returning for the final encore songs.

As always Balsam Range was awesome and hearing the "new" guy was great. The only negative was the fact that there was only 1 way in and absolutely no signs letting people know. We parked across from the stage area because of bad knees and had to walk a very long way around the area to the front gate. I don't see how there would have been a problem with having an entrance on the back side. We love Balsam Range and know they have nothing to do with the parking or gates but they should be made aware of the problem. Most of the people attending the BR concerts are older and could benefit from some consideration. Thank you

Balsam Range boasts such a wide variety of music styles. They can play straight ahead driving bluegrass and then swap up to Americana Ballads. This is a fantastic group with very unique harmonies.

I love this venue almost as much as I love Balsam Range! There is not a bad seat in this venue. We enjoyed a BIG bag of popcorn while we listened to Balsam Range and tapped our feet and/or danced in our seats! We will go again next year!

Absolutely incredible!!! It was Darren’s last show with them and they pulled out ALL the stops! They had a few EXCELLENT studio musicians to play w/ them: a drummer, piano player and a pedal steel and it gave them even a fuller sound … can’t wait til next year!!!

We are huge fans of Balsam Range and traveled from Waynesville NC, and their Haywood County home to see them. We loved the venue, it was a perfect place to see them, or anyone…we will definitely be back again because we are also huge fans of the Shipshewana Auction!👍

They failed to show, cancelled; Darin Nicholson & group subbing were fantastic, wonderful change; big crowd, very responsive, receptive. Excellent (the best) venue

The Balsam Range concert was great. Their sounds matched and sometimes exceeded the recordings, and they proved to be masters with their instruments. Getting to meet them after the show was an added bonus!

As always, Balsam Range gave a great concert at Stuart auditorium! Playing in front of a “hometown “ audience, they performed 2 long sets, made up of many tunes from their most recent album as well as from many of their albums. They are a must-see for any bluegrass fan! Well done boys!

Great Musicians and guys. They will most definitely take the time to talk to their fans. They are a very unique band. Go and see them if you ever get a chance.

Balsam Range is a group of very amazing guys. I personally met all of them. They play amazing bluegrass and gospel songs. I am lost for words on how good they are.

GREAT show as always. They played the whole cd then 6 or 7 of the older stuff. If you don't have the new stuff get it!
