Alien Sex Fiend

Forming in 1982 in London, UK, Alien Sex Fiend played their first ever gig at the original Batcave club in Soho, London. They quickly became known in the batcave and subsequent gothic scenes, then far beyond those genres for their dark electronic, industrial, punk sound, with its mixture of heavy samples, trippy loops, guitar and manic vocals.

Comprising of frontman Nik Fiend and his spouse Mrs. Fiend as the nucleus, the band has put out a long and musically varied discography over the years. Switching easily from heavy industrial to ambient experimental styles, and everything between, fans of Alien Sex Fiend are always wondering what the next album is going to entail.

Emerging from the sweaty environs of the notorious "Batcave" club in London's sleazy Soho in 1982 and having celebrated their 25th anniversary with a number of storming shows throughout Europe, Alien Sex Fiend are bringing their crazed live "Greatest Hits" anniversary show into The United States of America for a 9 city coast to coast tour in June. With the outrageous sounds of Mrs Fiend's bastard beats and killer keyboards driving the insane antics of singer, Nik Fiend, the gruesome twosome will be aided and abetted by the mysterious Gonzo, guesting on wig-city guitar.

Fifth on the list of artists with the most indie single chart entries, Alien Sex Fiend will be blasting out songs spanning their entire career - from early hits like "R.I.P." and "I Walk The Line", MTV's Beavis and Butthead classic "Now I'm Feeling Zombiefied", through to their yet-to-be unleashed monster of a new song "One Way Ticket To Venus". Along with a ghoulish spider-webbed stage set, comprising mutilated mannequins, body parts, skulls, bones and garbage cans, the hair raising Alien Sex Fiend Live Experience is a total audio visual assault.

In celebration of 2008 also being the 25th anniversary year of the infamous original Batcave Tour of 1983, the club's founders, the band Specimen, will be reforming & appearing as Alien Sex Fiend's special guests on this "The Batcave Returns Tour".
