Fikus

FiKus is a five-piece rock band from Bergen County, NJ. Once described as “if Incubus and George Clinton had an evil electronic baby”, their sound spans across many genres and incorporates everything from keyboards to horns to effect pedals to hand percussion. Their one of a kind sound combines progressive melodies with infectious grooves, electronic beats, and edgy vocals. They craft songs which invoke rock, funk, soul, dance, and jazz, all the while holding onto a recognizable sound of their own. While no two live shows are the same, you can always count on tight jams, anthemic choruses, a high energy dance floor and top notch light production. Their songwriting skills and catalogue depth provide fans access to a universe of music which is both mature sounding and fresh. Their latest studio release, Living Life Through Multi-Colored Scenery (2014), reflects this diversity and combines their unique style with a developed song writing ability.
