( English below) DONUTS HOLE nació en el 2009 con una filosofía común entre sus músicos: crear música independiente sin un estilo fijo, en la que reine la expresividad frente a la fórmula. En 2010 lo demostraron con su primer EP “Concepto Efímero”, con el cual se dieron a conocer recorriendo toda Cataluña. Después de varios cambios de formación en sus primeros pasos, la banda unió a Ariel Placenti con Marco Alejandro Papiz, Sergio Morales, Pau Ibáñez y Sebastian González. Corría el 2013 cuando se presentaron a un concurso con el objetivo de tocar en el Festival de música metal "BN Fest" y compartir cartel con bandas como Unearth, Sybreed o The Algorithm. En este caso, después de compartir escenario con bandas de todo el territorio nacional y varias rondas eliminatorias, se clasificaron y pudieron tocar por primera vez con bandas reconocidas internacionalmente. A principios del 2014 publicaron su opera prima “Parodia de un Silencio”, con un aire nuevo y una flamante dosis de energía brutal. Este disco fue grabado en "PlyGrnd Studio" por Marco, productor y guitarrista de la misma banda. Tras dar a luz su primer LP, DONUTS HOLE realizó una primera gira de presentación del disco, bautizada como gira "Nos Sobra el Tiempo", con más de diez fechas repartidas por salas de Madrid, Murcia, Valencia y Barcelona acompañando a bandas como More Than a Thousand y Hacride. La acogida, tanto por parte de promotores como público, es prometedora. DONUTS HOLE ha demostrado estar fuera de etiquetas y componer desde dentro hacia fuera sin dejar de absorber todo tipo de influencias; creando riffs demoledores y combinándolos con estribillos contagiosos. Actualmente, la banda está preparando una nueva gira para expandir fronteras y hacer las primeras incursiones fuera del territorio nacional. ------------------------------------ DONUTS HOLE was born in 2009 with a common philosophy among their musicians: to create independent music without a fixed style, where expressivity rules over clichés. They showed it in 2010 with their first EP “Concepto Efímero”, which they played all around Catalonia and started to get known by fans. After some member changes at the beginning, the band joined Ariel Placenti with Marco Alejandro Papiz, Sergio Morales, Pau Ibáñez and Sebastián González. It was 2013 when they inscribed to a contest, the prize of which was to play on the BN Fest and sharing stage with bands such as Unearth, Sybreed and The Algorithm. After playing with national bands on the preliminary rounds, they made it through the end and won the right to play with international well-known bands. At the beginning of 2014 they released their opera prima “Parodia de un Silencio” with a fresh wave of brutal energy. This album was recorded in “PlyGrnd Studio” by Marco, producer and guitar player of the band. To promote their new LP, DONUTS HOLE did a first presentation tour named “Nos Sobra el Tiempo Tour”, with more than 10 gigs spread over Madrid, Murcia, Valencia and Barcelona, playing along with bands such as Hacride and More Than A Thousand. The reception, both by promotors and public, is promising. DONUTS HOLE has proved to be out of genre labels and to compose from within, while soaking up with all kind of influences; all to create demolishing riffs and catchy choruses. Currently, the band is preparing a new tour to expand their horizons and make the first raids outside national territory.
