Martin Bisi, is a prominent record producer, as well as a performer/songwriter. At the Brooklyn studio he founded with the help of Brian Eno, he has worked in many genres and recorded classics by Sonic Youth, Material, Herbie Hancock (Rockit), Africa Bambaata, Swans, The Dresden Dolls, John Zorn, Helmet, White Zombie, Cop Shoot Cop, Foetus, and Serena Maneesh. His new album, Sirens Of The Apocalypse expands rock into a mutant, experimental-pop concoction. The multiple female characters in the songs inspired the album title, and extensive artwork.
