The Slug Syndicate Saga Once upon a time, not too long ago, 9 musicians created two bands. Brainchilds christened imitating:art and crowcane. Their passion for music burnt bright and clear, and in the blink of an eye they were heading for the stars. However, as fate would have it, both bands were shot down. Face first. Crashed and burned in a blaze of glory. Amongst remnants and ashes stood confused musicians, to be exact, 3 of them. Had this been their time to shine? Was this the last glimpse they were to catch of a stage? The limelight? Were they never again to mesmerise the audience with chugging riffs and spellbinding chords? Unacceptable as a fact, inconceivable as a theory! Contacts were made, alliances forged, in determination to continue the magic created by their former bands. A solid fundament had been created, a pillar to grow upon. However, something was missing. A dimension unexplored. The need for fresh blood was met. By a beautiful voice. The Syndicate was open for business, and moved on to the creation of the perfect musical expression. However, as with any heavy machinery, parts can grind to a halt, or even break down, and after a few years, the Syndicate was in dire need of a serve and repair. The cogwheels that had once interlocked ever so tightly, were now ground down, slipping, and loosing sync. Like a Hydra with one of its heads stuck in an increasing downwards spiral, Slug Syndicate was heading for the abyss. So... One neck had to face the blade. This could have been the end, easily, but... Extreme conditions call for extreme responses, and it would seem like this saga still has some chapters left in it, for a new head has emerged from the bloody stump, growing stronger every day, and the next chapter, is destined to be massive.
