About Thirteen Shots

Thirteen Shots has risen from the grave and awoken the dead with a sound that brings back the roots of 1960’s rock n’ roll combined with Garage Blues and Horror Punk, with B-movie lyrics "Dark, Tounge 'n' Cheek, Blood soaked Horror Punk 'N' Roll. Five bloody palms up"- Horror-Punks.com "Check out this amazing track 'Danzig' by Thirteen Shots. Because I love Danzig and want to say thank you too"- Michale Graves "These guys are all killer and have no filler. If you are looking for a band with a "full on, kick you in the ass sound", check them out. I highly recommend them"- Super Smash Media "I don’t think that Thirteen Shots do themselves justice on paper, as quite frankly their music is more complex than they let on in their bio. Taking different genres and combining them is always dangerous, yet these guys seem to have managed it with aplomb throughout this album. Sure, there’s moments here where you’ll question the lyrics or wonder what on earth you’re hearing, but throughout there’s almost a sense of reassurance, reminding you that what you’re listening to is designed to be fun, designed for you to enjoy and over all, designed to celebrate the varied influences behind it." Loud-Stuff "Thirteen Shots are so damn good. I have loved these guys since I first heard them, and like Calabrese, they just keep growing and maturing into their own sound. I think in a few more albums (or maybe even one, who knows) these guys will unlock something HUGE. This album is a killer collection and packed with some unbridled honesty. I love this album, and you should too." - Horror-Punks.com end of year top ten album review Join the Garage Crew on Spotify http://open.spotify.com/artist/58IsMMD6Dsb2M2cZ6NzQsq

Sadly the set was shortened due to technical difficulties at the start, but this only spurred Thirteen Shots to put all the energy of the full set into 5 or 6 songs. Still worth the journey!
