Eager 13

Eager 13 were born in the gritty, graffiti covered backstreets of Sydney's Inner West in 2009. United by a die-hard love of punk in all its myriad forms & genres, these true believers set about distilling their various styles & influences into a mesh of melodic, ska-tinged, up-beat punk with a dash of pop and an old school spirit. The result was a call for Eager Times, a decree of punk inspired positivity and belief that no matter how much the bastard world smashes you in the face you always pick yourself up & keep on going! Energetic lead singer Caz fronts the band as she channels the spirit of Becki Bondage & Debbie Harry with her dynamic range of vocal diversity and delivery. Supporting her as she does so is a back line consisting of some of Sydney's punk veterans & elder statesman - Baz on Bass, Archie on guitar and Max on drums. The line-up has varied slightly over the years but the desire to say Fuck You to bullshit and get everyone up grooving and moving has remained constant. It's these factors that have enabled Eager 13 to carve out and hold their own little niche in Sydney's ever changing and very diverse punk and alternative rock scene.
