Speed Of Sound is a band on the rise gaining momentum and popularity through their infectious "Live" shows and supreme musicianship. They are a Classic Rock Band from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Reformed in 2016, These 4 talented musicians put their own spin on the Classic Rock songs they grew up with. They've devoted their music to songs most bands don't play but still maintain the popularity of these timeless Classics from the 60's through today. Their "Live" shows are infectious, powerful and filled with endless grooves. Speed Of Sound is all about having fun. The chemistry between the band can easily be seen. The fans sing along and dance throughout their shows often doing encores suggested by their audiences. They have opened for International Recording Artist The Tubes and The Grass Roots plus local favorites Kashmir, 97Nine, Friction, Heartache Tonight, American English and Eliminator to name a few.
