“A rock show that gives you a reason to dance,” this is what 7LIONS, the new band signed to superstar producer RedOne’s label 2101 Records, brings to its fans. This Los Angeles based aggregation reveals a potent merger of rock and hiphop like it’s never been done before. The difference between 7LIONS and the pioneers before them is the fusion of the urban hip-hop poetry from their rapper Mika “Prophet” Guillory, the alternative rock influences of their lead singer/guitarist Forrest Fulmer and the electronic/pop/rock production of their keyboardist Morgan Taylor Reid; diverse musical backgrounds that create an explosive, epic sound. A tight knit group, 7LIONS also includes band members Will Carpenter (Lead Guitar/Back-Up Vocals,) Daniel Hange (Bass) and Tony Tommasi (Drums). 7LIONS debut EP Born 2 Run was Executive Produced by RedOne All songs were produced by Morgan Taylor Reid except for the title track and single “Born 2 Run” which was produced by RedOne and co-produced by Morgan Taylor Reid. The EP is available exclusively on iTunes and feature the brand new tracks “One Man Symphony,” “Emergency,” “Taking Over,” “One More Time” as well as “Born 2 Run.” 7LIONS continue to perform throughout Los Angeles area and recently created the “LA Kings/Born 2 Run” Stanley Cup theme, a re-mix of their single “Born 2 Run” that was created in cooperation with LA’s 98.7 FM, sister station AM 570 and the Stanley Cup winning LA Kings! 7Lions have also performed at a number of colossal live shows including Summer Sessions Rock, Wango Tango, the newly re-modeled CityWalk stage at Universal Studios and raw acoustic sets at KIIS FM’s Clear Channel Performance Studio. 7LIONS is poised to make some resounding waves in the world of rock music with their high energy live performances reverberating from the clubs to the streets to the consciousness of an expanding legion of devout fans.
