Amos Wellings

Amos Wellings is a songwriter, producer and DJ from Newcastle, Australia. He has a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of Newcastle, majoring in Composition and Creative Production. As a songwriter/producer, he is one half of indie electronic/synthpop duo Amos & Emily. The duo's music has received strong support internationally from blogs and tastemakers such as Acid Stag, Beautiful Buzzz, The Revue, Salacious Sound and more. Their debut EP “Reaction” was released across all streaming services in March 2017. As a DJ, Amos is a resident at King Street, The Argyle House and The Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle. He has shared line-ups with many of Australia's most-loved electronic and independent acts, including Pnau, Client Liaison, The Kite String Tangle, Alison Wonderland, The Preatures and more. Amos lived in London between 2014 and 2016, during which time he worked as a music curator for several streaming services, and co-founded Bring It All Back, the UK's biggest 90s and 2000s club night.
