'Second Hand Wings' are a five-piece band known for their ability to crack the stoniest of audiences through emotive rhythms and soaring vocals. Listeners have described a likeness to Fleet Foxes, the Pierces and Laura Marling. Layer this with deep seated drums and bass…and you are getting nearer to a Fleetwood Mac sound. The band released their debut album Mountain City on 27th May 2013 where they held a sold out launch party at Salfords infamous Islington Mill. Regulars on the Northern Music scene, playing packed gigs at venues such as Club Academy, Manchester pride, Band on the Wall’s Rawfest and The Castle Hotel. The band are due to tour the album later this year across the UK and parts of Europe.
