Tom Burgess

At 28 years old, Tom Burgess has been performing and writing songs on his guitar for 6 years. He has played in all corners of New England, from Maine to New York, and as has toured to Florida and back. Tom now plays mostly in Rhode Island, delivering a blend of Americana and folk music in his songs. Some of his influences include The Band, The Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Gordon Lightfoot and more. His voice has been described as a blend between James Taylor and Eric Clapton. Appearing most frequently as a solo act, Tom also plays lead guitar in Uncle Funk, a 3 piece rock/funk outfit from South County.
