ZZ Ward

Everything was magically amazing! The VIP is well worth every penny. ZZ gave two free record albums and a poster. Got great pictures. The show was spectacular! The opener was Jessie Williams who plays a Georgia country blues with expert fingerpicking. ZZ has an incredible voice and has great chemistry with her band. She did her big hits and brought that energy! It was a show I didn’t want to see end. I attend 8 to 10 concerts a year and this was among the best. I haven’t had so much fun in a very long time.

The show was great, the venue had its pluses and minuses. The venue has a great restaurant and set up for the concert; however, I was really surprised to see they allowed smoking in the concert. There were people smoking weed, cigarettes, and vaping completely out in the open. If I had known that was allowed, I would have factored that into my decision on whether to go or not.

I had so much fun. Meeting ZZ was so much fun. She even gave me a shout-out to the crowd saying that I am her number one fan. I even met some friends and told them about Zz wards discord server called the House of dirty shine. Very friendly people all around. I hope she comes back to Maryland Hall for the creative arts in the future. Loved all her new songs from Liberation.

The Roxy was a great intimate venue where Ms Ward put on an outstanding show of both her new songs and her early work. She was clearly "at home" and put amazing energy into her set. This was my third time seeing her and definitely my favorite show! I felt so lucky to have made this show. I was supposed to have surgery the Wednesday before the show but I put it off just to be there. I am glad I did.

After missing her the last few times she was in our area, finally got to see and meet ZZ Ward. She was an absolute pleasure to meet and so friendly. The concert itself was amazing - a perfect blend of old and new songs. I could not have asked for a more perfect night.

Fabulous!! ZZ sounded great and the show was lots of fun!! ZZ is very original in her style and phrasing, particularly on her own songs, but she’s also amazing when she sings the Blues! The opening act, Lanie Gardner was very enjoyable too and she’s got a great voice!

Was amazing, whoever was controlling the mixing of the music, did a stellar job, you could actually hear the vocals and all of the instruments at the same time, not something that usually happens, the opening act Lanie Gardner was also amazing, her voice was ridiculous.

Stateroom has some technical issues to correct. We had an overwhelming hum and whine and feedback throughout the entire show. It s***s because ZZWard puts on an incredible show when everything is on par. We were happy with the venue, and the amenities and ease of access all around.

ZZ Ward is one of my favorite artists and she did not disappoint. Great mix of old and new songs along with some blues classics. This was my first time at Delmar Hall and I loved how intimate it was. This was one of the best live music events of my life.

Good show, but the Fine Line was not a big enough venue. I was also a bit disappointed in its length. It started at 9:05 and ended about 10:38. I expected closer to 11. She did end with one of my favorites, Blue Eyes Blind.

The Paradise is a fantastic place to see a show. ZZ Ward was fabulous and sounded incredible. She played every song you wanted to hear and more. Her smile and enthusiasm was infectious. We got to hear tracks from her new album and some brand new music that will be on the next release. It was a feel-good concert that had you loving live music. The show ended with her hinting at a baby bump that had the crowd cheering for another encore.

ZZ Ward rocked the Paradise Sunday night with an alternating blazing and soulful set from about 9:20 to 11:00. The rhythm section was ponding and tight with a great guitar leading the way. ZZ sounded strong and delivered. Great set list of new stuff and older hits. Her new songs were impressive. Don’t miss her if you have the chance.

This was my 16th time seeing ZZ Ward since 2012 She puts on an amazing show every time. Z has a wonderful stage presence and her voice sounds just as good live as it does on the album. If you’ve never seen her live, be sure to catch her show the next time she comes through!

I’m a huge Zz Ward fan. This was the first time seeing her live and she did not disappoint. It was a lovely range of old and new music and her set was extremely long. Her in the band did an absolutely amazing job!!
