About Tragics
One Friday afternoon in Sowerby Bridge, fueled by a crippling overdose of tea and cheap tobacco Jim Bottomley (Guitar, Vocals) and Andy Greaves (Vocals, Guitar) all of a sudden started to play 'country music' by mistake. Shortly afterwards Andy learned to play the mandolin, on purpose. The Tragics now are anything from Andy and Jim playing as a duo to a seven piece band. Plans are now underway for live and studio work employing such talents as the great Becky Taylor (fiddle, mandolin, low whistle) and Martin Nuttall of the Little Giants (banjo, lap steel). The Tragics : Americarnage Pie with a deep rock filling.
