Dunn had little to no traditional musical background or practice in his academic career. He vowed to become a self-taught piano player as a youngster in high school and performed his first works in private music halls, outdoors, and small music venues.
Dunn's music lately, can be defined as intuitively composed, minimally melancholy suites and light or abrasive drones that conjure up emotionally straining moods or sore romantic memories. His latest most gorgeous offering, 'Fragments and Compositions of Kyle Bobby Dunn' encapsulates his most profound, intimate, and beautifully icy works yet.
