As I Lay Dying

Absolutely amazing show in Dallas on 8/3. Did the VIP upgrade and it was well worth it too. AILD is my favorite band and their concerts match my appreciation for their music. Hard to say that about many bands. Their shows are #1 and they are #1 in my book. You won’t regret going to their concert. Even my friends who are not metalcore fans loved it!

One of the best shows i’ve attended in a long time, got to meet the band in a no rush chilled environment, i had every one of their CD inserts with me, and they all took the time to sign them all, then just hung out with the fans for almost an hour, even chatted with one of the guitarists about the horrible artwork on the walls, (unlike All That Remains the following day who didn’t give fans the time to sign anything except a pre signed poster, click a pic and say “NEXT!”) After the meet and greet we hung out in the lounge waiting for the club doors to open, then were escorted to our reserved table front row behind the mixer. All three bands carried so much energy the show was like a 3 hour workout. Food was great, Entheos got the crowd warmed up up with their unique female led deathcore sound, Chelsea Grin had the crowd spinning, and when As I Lay Dying hit the stage, i thought the place was going to explode! (it’s no wonder Tim works out so much), he and the band were so moved by the crowd response and how well everyone knew the lyrics to most of the songs, their set lasted about an hour and a half with two encore songs, but the whole thing seemed to go by in a flash! Kudos to Tim and the band for making their fans feel like the most important people in their lives!

Absolutely amazing show!! The guitarists are intricate, detailed and blistering fast. The bassist pounds the bass and adds awesome contrasting vocals. Drummer is precision and crushed the drums. Tim delivered the vocals to make the show memorable and long lasting! Fan for life and will support them anytime I can!

I don’t know if the band sees this, but I want to thank them not only for an incredible show but for dedicating A Greater Foundation to me. Above all of that, thank you Tim for the support and heart to heart conversation we had prior to your set. I have a newfound love and respect for As I Lay Dying that I didn’t think could be reached.

Every band was amazing, they each performed with so much intensity. The stage, sound quality, and venue staff was amazing...BUT the venue only had 2 porta potties for 400+ people. What kind of mathematics defunct troglodyte would do such a thing. The worst part is the venue serves alcohol so you know on average each person at the venue will need the facilities twice while there. The doors opened around 6pm and the last band ended around 11:30pm. Get your sh** together Sunshine Studios.

Every band fucking killed it. Kyle sounds incredible live as always. The boys in Shadow of Intent have incredible songwriting and never disappoint. Whitechapel always crushes it, and the heart-touching Hickory Creek is wondeful live. As I Lay Dying has been a staple metalcore act for years, and with the fill-ins (big shout out to those guys) they made it a kick ass show. It was nice seeing Tim being humble about coming back to the music scene.

Tim and the guys did an amazing job. Good to see them back out and crushing it. The new gus didn’t miss a beat either. Credit to Miss May I bassist feeling in. Sounded great with the harmonies.

My first hardcore show, never having seen any of these bands in person, Emmure was okay, spent most of their set in the merch line. After the Burial was awesome, and AILD definitely lived up to the hype.

So much fun! I've seen them twice before, but this was by far the best for so many reasons! So grateful for so many people giving Tim and the band a second chance... Also, After the Burial was AMAZING!

Great show overall. I thought the setlist was awesome. Good stage presence and the lead singer talked to the crowd. Great job getting Anthony from After the Burial to sing as an extra backup vocalist for "Buried Alive in my own Grave". Definitely, worth seeing this band again in the future. Overall worth the price of admission.

As I Lay Dying is at the pinnacle of their career. They were friendly to meet in person and brought an intensity to the stage you rarely see. They are definitely one of the super power metal bands now spanning multiple generations. The AILD of 2019 is superb and now is the time we should see them and support their music. It doesn’t get any better than this!

Energy started strong with Emmure. After the Burial increased it with an awesome set and put on a brutal performance. They got the crowd fully involved and got everyone ready for As I Lay Dying. As I Lay Dying blew the roof off the venue with constant circle pits and even more energy! It's great to see the guys back together and it seems they've only become a more tight-knit band.

La mejor experiencia de la vida. Tremenda banda y increíble la humildad que demostraron permitiendo dejarse tomar fotos en repetidas ocasiones con las personas que estábamos haciendo fila para el concierto. Buena organización durante el recital y buen sonido. Fui realmente feliz, gracias.!

Es war atemberaubend supergeil , von Anfang bis Ende Dauerheadbangen mit Gänsehautgarantie !!!Und das ging immer so weiter , konmte gar nicht alle Highlights Filmen , so brutal geil war es !! Ich bin immer noch total geflasht und begeistert , was für eine bombastische Band As I Lay Dying war und immer noch ist !!!

My husband and I were supposed to see them at their last tour like six years ago but we couldn't go because I was pregnant. This was such an amazing concert and I'm so glad we finally got to see them live.

Awesome show, first time seeing them. Only crap thing was all the bro dudes in the pit doing karate being reckless. I stayed out but felt bad for the people enjoying themselves in there that were collateral damage to dumb bros.

As I lay dying as I remember it! Haven't thrown up twice at a concert and then go back in the crowd in a while lol got to take a picture with Tim as well, probably the best concert I've gone to all year.

One of THE BEST shows I’ve been to in a long time. So much energy in the room and on the stage. Good to see Tim and the rest of the guys on stage again. They seemed genuinely grateful that we came out to support them

The show was EPIC! The last time I saw AILD was almost a decade ago in Farmington, NM. They sure didn’t disappoint the longtime fans and the crowd was pumped. I can’t wait to see them LIVE again. 👍
