About Adrienne Cowan
Adrienne Cowan is a metal vocalist, keyboardist, composer, orchestrator, conductor, and arranger. Equal parts eccentric Jack Sparrow and poignant nostalgia, she is an artist who touches heavily on escapism as well as expressing a distantly romantic outlook on death and solo voyages. Crafting globally in numerous bands, she is best known for her work in Seven Spires, where she draws from all flavours across and outside of the spectrum of metal and orchestral music. She is also known as the keyboardist of LA-based Winds of Plague, the vocalist of Milan, IT-based Light & Shade, and the vocalist of the hard rock/power metal outfit, FirstBourne. Graduating from Berklee College of Music did not mark the end of her musical education, in her eyes. “Every time I collaborate with someone, I learn something new. Whether it’s about music, about myself as a writer, or what makes other musicians tick – I love it.” Her numerous collaborations and appearances include Casio artist Kyle Morrison’s “Pianometal” (featuring members of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Megadeth, Dragonland, and others), Erik Huang’s “Akshara”, and a brief performance with Sweden’s Amaranthe. She also performed with Jeff and Casey Williams of RWBY Music at RTX ’16, and contributed vocals to Black Science’s “Freedom (Or Die Trying)” which was featured on Rooster Teeth’s show, Camp Camp. Additionally, she created the role of Asceawa in Robert Schlink’s “Queen Boudicca: A Metal Opera”, and is pleased to be a mixing/mastering client of Sascha Paeth of Avantasia since ‘14, as well as Jim Olivera (SONY Brazil) and Simone Mularoni (DGM). Adrienne would spend a perfect day off next to the Rialto Bridge with her dog, her tattered copy of The Return of the King, and a bottomless cup of espresso. She also enjoys the Legend of Zelda and Kraken Rum, and keeps a blog documenting her travels. Adrienne Cowan's Official Page. https://adriennecowan.com
