About Donovan Roberts
Donovan Roberts is a blues/root duo originally hailing from Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Jeff Roberts (guitar, vocals) Mad Dog and Blues Nights Out, The Jeff Roberts Band, Lonnie Shields Band and Lori Donovan (vocals) Sweet and Lowdown, The 120 Minutes.
In 2004, the duo decided to begin working exclusively as an acoustic duo, with career highlights that include several US east coast tours, a tour of Ireland, 12 consecutive appearances at Musikfest, the country's largest, free music festival, and two-time semi-finalists in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN; appearances on national and regional television including Life and Style and Good Morning New Orleans.
Their album, Are You Alone, also saw three tracks included in the award-winning indie film In Search Of , receiving praise from fans and critics alike.
They currently play primarily in the Gulf Coast of Florida, with occasional shows in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
