1) Airborne
(quote from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbourne_(band))

Airbourne is an Australian hard rock band originating from Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, where they gained a steady following with their pub rock sound.

Their independent eight track EP 'Ready to Rock' was released in 2004. In early 2005, the band relocated to Melbourne. Later that year, the band signed a five album record deal with Capitol Records and have since supported Mötley Crüe, Motörhead and The Rolling Stones, as well as playing in several summer music festivals. Their first album, titled Runnin' Wild, was released in Australia on 23 June, 2007. So far, three singles have been released from the album, "Runnin' Wild", "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" and "Diamond In The Rough". On February 19 2007, Capitol Records cancelled their record contract with Airbourne, but the album was still released in Australia through EMI. The band has now signed with Roadrunner Records for distribution throughout the rest of the world. Amongst all the overseas hype Airbourne still fails to be played on any of the major Australian Radio networks.

Airbourne's music has also been featured in several video games, such as Madden 08 and NHL 08. According to Gamesindustry.biz, the band's music is also featured in Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Need for Speed: ProStreet, Skate, NFL Tour, Burnout Paradise , NASCAR 08 and NASCAR 09. The song "Runnin' Wild" was also featured in a commercial for the console game Battlefield: Bad Company.[1]

One of their songs, "Stand Up For Rock and Roll", was the official theme song for WWE's Royal Rumble 2008.[2] They also perform Mr. Kennedy's entrance theme "Turn Up The Trouble" for WWE. Their song "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" is also the official theme song of NASCAR 09.

The song "Stand Up For Rock and Roll" appears in the movie Bring It On: In It to Win It.

2) Airborne
Contemporary Jazz / Smooth Jazz & Vocals

Their High-Energy Contemporary Jazz sound is in perfect tune with today's Smooth Jazz and Vocals radio formats. Packed with intensity and complexity their smooth and expert performance, vocal, and composition skills are respected in all the jazz markets, (college, public, and commercial).

Sounds of passion and emotion, a multi-cultural product of the band's hometown of New Haven, CT. Formed in the late 1980's the band has survived the ups and downs of today's frantic society with total dedication to their music, skills, and goals. With rare virtue, thought, and imagination these multi-faceted and experienced musicians have collaborated to create their own unique personal expression, original sound, and trademark in jazz music.

A whirling musical journey packed with sincerity, serenity, and flawless execution. That lifts you to higher joy and awareness. Airborne’s musical recipe takes a can of straight ahead jazz with Caribbean and Latino influences. Pours in a few tablespoons of jazz fusion and a heaping cup of urban street funk. Then cooks all ingredients with pure technical talent till it gets boiling hot.

Their music beliefs, insights, and material always maintain the highest integrity. Communicating and crossing over to a wider listening market and audience. Their career is forever blossoming with each new recording project. All their CDs have made very successful marks on Jazz Radio Charts all over the USA and abroad with heavy airplay rotation. Trade Magazines such as, JazzTimes, Jazziz, Downbeat, Billboard, CMJ, Musician, New England Performer, Smoothjazz.com, AbsysJazz, Smooth Jazz News, Jazz Review, etc have praised their work with great reviews and press releases.

Their Concert Videos appeared on BET, Public Broadcasting, and TV Cable & Satellite Networks across the USA. The band has toured and performed at Jazz Festivals, Music Performance Venues, Colleges, and Jazz Clubs in the USA, Europe, and Japan.
Since 1992, the Airborne Jazz Band has been on the New England Foundation for the Arts prestigious Performing Arts Touring Roster with Arts in Education programs and performances of “A Century of Jazz” , “Jazz Appreciation for Young Audiences”, and “Jazz Legends”. As jazz educators on the touring roster of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts they have opened the minds and ears of young audiences to jazz music in their home state performing their Arts in Education programs in Colleges, High, and Middle Schools.

As Performing Artists, Recording Artists, Educators, and as Humanitarians the band’s quality of excellence and compassion has kept them on the road to success

3) Airborne
Alternative Rock

Airborne is a band from Elverum, Norway. The beginning of Airborne started in 2005, when guitarist Tommy, and bassist Thomas, attended school together in Hamar. Tommy brought in Magne, and the three of them played together in Tommy's basement for half a year. When Thomas' other band at the time disbanded, he brought in drummer Vidar, and guitarist Karl from that band, thus making Airborne. With this lineup consisting of a bassist, three guitarists and a drummer they started making music. After some time they found their current vocalist, Miriam, and with that things really started to progress. After a couple of months Karl quit Airborne to work on his band The Blitz Factory, leaving Airborne with it's current lineup. Due to personal interests the band disbanded early in 2008 when Thomas left the band. Tommy, Magne and Miriam formed a new band and named it Enrobria.

In late 2007 they released their first EP, and some it can be found on their myspace.
