Coming from an American, I was introduced to them in '08. I had the chance and saw them in Houston at a club for We Started Nothing. It was so badass! Like weaponized punk with them Latin beats....damn....Years later, I worked for Maersk and for some stupid reason they had us in training in London. All I had to do was change the flight back by one day to stay in Paris and see them at another club venue......I'm telling you, THIS is where you need to see these guys. Somewhere you can dance and have a GOOD TIME! Screw those big major tours where you can't do anything.....these guys are BEST in a smaller venue where you can just FEEL the music! Katie was Super Critical and Jules was just right on, man! Them drums just pounding out the beats, Rorey in the back with the synths and all?! By time they were finished with the first number, Do It Again, some of us were already breaking a sweat!! DAMN sure hope to see them again, sometime!! *Impacilla Carpusing* RULES!!!
They were so nice as to hang around and talk with whoever showed up! Nice folks to party with.

About The Ting Tings
UK Salford band The Ting Tings released their first catalogue of hits in 2008, with global success taking them on an immediate 6-year world tour. That’s Not My Name, Shut Up & Let Me Go, Great Dj & Hands, still regular fixtures on playlists and syncs worldwide.
They vowed never to make the same record twice, 5 albums in they are sticking to their word.
Winners of the prestigious Ivor Novello award for best album, Grammy Nominated with countless festival awards and MTV awards lining the studio shelf, they say they have never stopped being a bubble band.
They have written and produced their own albums while living in Berlin, Los Angeles, United Kingdom, Spain & France. They enlisted the wonderful Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) to co-produce their 3rd album ‘Supercritical’, in their own words “a one off beautiful experience” in Ibiza.
This time they look and feel to have arrived at their most honest destination, with child in arms, old finca renovation still in progress, veggie gardens, old car repairs & sunshine. This is their West Coast affair.
Their new album ‘Home’ (coming soon!), was recorded in a wooden decked analogue studio is an easy breezy yacht rock album committed to traditional song writing inspired by their all-time favourites, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, The Eagles, The Carpenters, Cosby Stills & Nash, Supertramp, Christopher Cross, best heard in a car, preferably with the sea in view and the windows down.
2024 sees them focussing on new music running up to the new album scheduled to be released in early 2025 on their own label Wonderful Records.
They vowed never to make the same record twice, 5 albums in they are sticking to their word.
