Celtic Thunder

The show was wonderful, as always, but way too short. The Lads were in excellent voice - we missed Ryan Kelly terribly and pray that he's doing better. Also missed having Column Keegan with the group this time. This Group never disappoints and I can't wait wait for their next show! Excellent show!!!

I’ve been following CT since the beginning , 2008, when The Show was released and have been to countless shows. This was by far in my top 5 shows. These lads never disappoint and leave it all on the stage! If they are in your area, go see them! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful venue. I'm a longtime fan of Celtic Thunder but had never seen them live before. This is a group everyone needs to see at least once. This group is absolutely a well-oiled machine. Perfect pitch, perfect timing, wonderful show. Even with personnel changes through the years, the heart and soul of these folks is as strong today as it ever was. I truly wish I could see them again tomorrow. They will make you laugh; they will make you cry but you will leave the show knowing you have witnessed something very special. This Irish girl loves this group and everything they stand for.

Please invite Celtic Thunder back to the CCPAC. It is a wonderful venue and much more convenient than going to Atlanta. The show was great, as it always has been over these past many years at other venues. One little tweak would make it even better: the base guitarist should be hidden behind the drummer or keyboardist. His spastic antics and exaggerated facial contortions, more appropriate for a heavy metal lead performer, were a distraction. Background band members should stay in the background and not draw attention to themselves. Otherwise, the guys were great, including Ryan's sub.

I loved the show and the venue. The lads' singing was perfection and the band totally enhanced the performances without being overwhelming. It was a beautiful balance of voices and instrumentation.

Colm did an exceptional job. He took a complicated historical ‘story’ and somehow made it so concise and easy to follow while including so much detail and understanding. And then, of course, the group of these ‘lads’ bouncing off one another to create a fun show. Thanks!

I have seen Celtic Thunder every time they have come anywhere near CT. I have always enjoyed them. I understood when they went from 6 all the way down to 3 with the addition of Damian coming back after venturing out on his own. I have watched and enjoyed him since he joined at 12. One of things that makes C.T. different is not only the various single, double and group songs but the bantering back and forth with their animated expressions were wonderful to watch. Having seen them so many times, I was aware of the subtle changes each time and with different members. Last night’s show was different. The staging was pretty much non-existent; it took away from the ambiance of the show. When the performers came out, they looked like they just got off a bus! The sound system was terrible. Although I did know many of the words to some of the songs; the new ones were inaudible. I was particularly sad to not understand the words to the new song about the singer’s ancestor. Story songs are particularly popular with the Irish. Although I enjoyed the solos and duets as well the groups, the entire show started to feel like a talent show and not a group effort. That was always part of their appeal. I realize there are always compromises but moving to Mohegan Sun was not a good choice in my humble opinion I understand finances play into setting up appearance. It’s sort of like seeing a Broadway show numerous time. Then the show is sent out on the road. It’s the same show essentially but it’s not! It’s like the second string of a team. The performers were good but the settings/backdrops, the girls never left their positions, the lack of “ costumes” or even dressing alike, the inability to understand the words of the newer songs and the acoustics all detracted. The lack of any proper choreography which provided some synchronicity all decreased the true former vision of Celtic Thunder. Pat Dotson - patdots2@aol.com

It was a great show. I only regret I wasn't able to see the first day. I had a ticket but wasn't able to be home for it.

Best concert i have ever been too.... They lads really out did themselves, missed Neil though,he had a family emergency and flew home on monday. please keep them in your prayers

Surpasses the 2015 tour BY FAR! Incredible voices, infectious charm and an improved production. A great balance between songs of Ireland and current music. Love Emmet Cahill!

The concert was fantastic! Celtic Thunder shows always end before I want it too, could have stayed all night listening to their music.

It was xlnt, the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was because George was missing. He added a presence to the group which no one can replace. Missed him on so many of the songs. Can't add an image as they don't allow photos & ushers were policing the aisles. What's with that?

They were truly amazing. I would go again in a heartbeat! And the tribute to George was very well done. Such an incredible performance and I hope I will see them again soon!

It was awesome as always! The lads are friendly, sweet, and they love their fans :-)

great, but it looked like the guys are still trying to 'get used too each other'...or perhaps trying to hard..just looked forced...

Celtic Thunder's Best of Tour was absolutely AMAZING! Both the solo performances and the ensemble songs were fantastic. Loved every minute of the show!
