Elly May

Elly May began in the winter of 2011 as four young men jammed for the first time. After two months of practice and learning to groove as one the band was lucky enough to play there first show at the Bronson Centre in March 2011. What followed was a series of shows which had the band writing what would be their debut EP "Everywhere I've Been" in December of 2011. 2012 brought many hard hours of practice on perfecting their live show and writing new originals for a debut LP. One year and several months later the band find themselves with multiple shows under the belt such as the "Cornwall Lift Off Festival" opening for the likes of "Mariana's Trench" and "Down With Webster", a new drummer and a fully recorded album, eagerly awaiting to be heard by the masses. We are Elly May based out of the Cornwall/Ottawa region, our goal? Simple, combine elements of rock,funk,pop, sprinkle a dash of layered effects and vocal harmonies and voila.
