Phillip of Nazareth

Phillip of Nazareth is a punk rock trio from Duluth, Minnesota. We formed around 2009 as a four piece that played sloppy, cheap-beer drenched punk tunes. After reducing to a trio, the tunes became tighter and more progressive. We've performed all over Duluth as well as the surrounding areas. After performing the same songs over and over to the same faces, we decided in 2014 that it was time to record a proper album. Starting in August 2014, we recorded an album at Beaner's Central, a coffee shop with it's own studio. Tracking was done by Jason Wussow and mixing duties were in the hands of Mike Guello. After a brief busy period, this album was finished just before Christmas. This said album will be available in February 2015 on the failing compact disc and also as a digital download. Phillip of Nazareth is heading out on a tour in March of 2015 in which the album will be distributed nationally at the shows and eventually record shops.
