Bill Durst

Bill Durst has long been compared to the best guitar player - entertainers anywhere in the world. After achieving early success with his band Thundermug in Canada, the U.S. and Europe, the group released 3 albums and 19 singles between 1972 and 1977, Bill was acclaimed as one of the top songwriters in Canada and signed with CBS (now Sony) Publishing and released two albums in the 1980's. Amazingly, he collaborated with two of Thundermug’s original songwriters and produced a cd called “Who’s Running My World?” in the 1990's which received 42 continuous weeks of charted airplay and spawned three hit singles in Canada. This was followed with another album and European tours in the early 2000's. However, NOW is Bill’s time. His co-writing with friend and former band mate Joe DeAngelis has resulted in a wonderful synthesis of fun and exciting blues, roots, rock music and an unforgettable cd - featuring the full mature onslaught of a true artistic gem / world class guitar player / singer, songwriter / entertainer named Bill Durst.
