About Andrew Pope

"Andrew has a beautiful voice and Stormchaser is a solid, heartfelt song." - Lee Dannay, Thirty Tigers
"With a voice like that, we'd say Andrew Pope is going places in country music!" - Country Rebel Clothing
"This song and Pope’s voice is very much in the same vein of Chris Stapleton and even a little bit like fellow Alabama country artist Jamey Johnson." - Country Perspective

Real. Genuine. Those are two words to describe country music rambler Andrew Pope. Born and raised in the Northeast pines of Alabama, Andrew Pope has proven to be another natural-born talent from the same region that produced country music legends the Louvin Brothers and the super group Alabama. Over the past decade, Andrew has built a worldwide following of supporting fans, mostly on his own. He's performed shows with folks like John Michael Montgomery, Confederate Railroad and David Allan Coe, among many others. His songwriting skills are increasingly in demand, and he has written songs with everyone from the legendary Larry Gatlin, David Bellamy, and Larry Bastian to newcomers such as William Michael Morgan and Brent Cobb.
Andrew's music has been described by many as 'honky tonk heartbreak' and his authentic vocal style has been compared to the likes of Chris Stapleton, Cody Jinks, Sturgill Simpson, and Waylon Jennings. His songs come from real life, real emotions, real experiences and can be related to by many. The riveting and heartfelt emotion in his voice combined with an extraordinary and natural ability to perform and engage his crowds truly make him one of a kind! Country music legend Bobby Bare calls Andrew “the future of country music."
In May 2017, Pope released his sophomore album, "Stoned On The One", which he spent the last two years working on. "This album is special to me in so many ways. I've spent so much of the past decade in Nashville.. writing songs, doing writer nights, meeting people, you name it," he says. "I took a break from touring for a few years to focus on my songwriting. I wanted to cut a new record, but I knew I couldn't afford it at the time so I didn't really decide to do a new album any time soon. I think God just gave it to me and said it is time. So, the songs came and the story was already there.” says Pope. Stoned On The One has received nothing but great reviews with some calling it "one of the best country albums of 2017" and is currently being played on Sirius XM Outlaw Country.
When asked about touring again, Pope states "I belong on stage and I can't wait to hit the road again this year."
“It should always be about the music,” he says. “I’m not gonna be pigeon holed into being something other than me. Ever.” - AP
