About Please Be Human

A band made of old friends and family, Please Be Human strives for acceptance into the vast catalog of American music. The music has a strong emphasis on songwriting and lyrical stories, set to rhythm and melody heavy music, boasting five part harmony and instrumentation ranging from dirty blues, to country, to indie, to electronic. The band recently released their first professional EP, Rocky Mountain Passive Aggressive. It features songs about growing up Utah, where the mountains are abundant, the deserts are deadly, the forests win awards, and dominant culture doesn't always accept outside influences like the rock and roll lifestyle, and deals with everyday problems by not talking about them. A band for the people.
