Kingsmen Quartet

Great concert The people at the church were very gracious and welcoming, and the concert was wonderful. A special feature of the concert was the selection of songs that featured different members of the group as soloists. After the concert, we had the opportunity to speak to all the Kingsmen individually. Overall, exceptional concert. Looking forward to hearing more in the future.

What a wonderful concert! The Holy Spirit was in this place! The sanctuary was packed and we all worshipped together! They sang many songs from their latest project and some oldies! Thomas sang THE PRODIGAL and it was very moving! I hope to hear The Kingsmen in concert soon ... One of my favorite groups!

The Kingmen Quartet was polished, professional, and perfect. One of the most inspiring, encouraging concerts I have attended. Thomas, Cole, Allen, Brady, Dr. Richie, and Brandon were a blessing and first class. They are the best Southern Gospel quartet in America! If you have a chance, go see them, you will not be disappointed

The venue was very comfortable and homely and the Quartet's singing was just fantastic! The harmony was perfect and when they sang individually their voices are top notch. We especially enjoyed the young man who sang a really deep, deep bass and he is also a talented pianist! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it and interacted with the friendly people. I was particularly pleased that an altar call was made.

I have been listening to the Kingsmen Qt. since 1969. Obviously there has been a complete change in personnel. But one thing hasn't changed....the professionalism & energy of the group. The guys did an outstanding job. The bass singer, Ray Reese was not present. He was taking a break back in N.C. I think he deserves one after being in the group since the early 70's. He's 84! Anyway, his replacement was a 19 year old from a small town in Ohio Co. Ky. Wow.....not only was he a worthy addition, her could really play that piano. Very enjoyable evening to say the least.

The group was amazing first class. Spiritually uplifting. High quality vocals That young bass was WOW! what a voice. Totally carrying on the tradition of the Kingsmen perfect old song mixed with the new. The Pinecrest venue was perfect with lots of local talent maybe too much local talent. With a national group present. Personal opinion.

Great concert as usual from the legendary Kingsmen. I was worried there a bit the lead singer had left, but he was taking some family time. Andrew Goldman was an excellent fill in choice. It wasn't a huge crowd, but it's a small church and it was filled. The crowd was very into the music and very hot I think, which is always a great thing. I am still amazed how the former Gold City members have fit here. Hard to believe, but I think this is one of their best lineups. Thomas and Cole are great fits here, and the young bass singer Jamie is a tremendous find for the Kingsmen. And Alan has come into his own as the MC. Of course it was great to see The Legend Ray Dean Reece make an appearance. I highly recommend anyone to go see them if you can in your area. The new version is a great lineup carrying on the mantle of The Kingsmen.

What a great night of the Kingsmen and Master’s Voice Quartets! Thomas Nalley, Cole Watson, Alan Kendal, and Drew Laney are as much the Kingsmen as any lineup before! Do I wish they had a full time piantist to let them sing with just voices and piano? Absolutely! Cole Watson didn’t even need a piano for his acapella rendition of Where No One Stands Alone. Solid voices for a great quartet!

After all the changes in the last year I thought The Kingsmen had seen their day and would just be holding on. But, very happy to say the new/current lineup is fantastic, one of their best. The new bass singer is awesome. They hit a homerun hiring him. And the two other former Gold City guys have been a perfect fit. As much as I liked them in Gold City, I am kind of surprised they seem to fit much better with The Kingsmen. They have added mightily to The Kingsmen and I love hearing this new lineup which has freshened up their sound. Alan Kendall has shown he's a perfect fit as emcee/spokesman for the group, besides being a very good singer of course. The only very slight bad thing was....BandsInTown said 6:00 pm but it actually started at 5:00pm. This seems to happen a few times and I don't know how, but I wish it could get fixed. I highly recommend seeing The Kingsmen in concert.

For the Kingsmen it was day 10 of a ten day run but they gave it all they had and did what they do best! Thankful to Grandview Church for hosting these guys along with Jared Vardaman. We always love concerts in Pearl, MS because it’s close to lots of good food before/after!

First time to see the newest lineup. Thomas and Cole have blended in very well. I was worried at first that the new bass singer had left but thankfully he was just taking time off. They were as good as always. Lots of new and different songs. We really enjoyed it. And of course to see a bit of the legendary Ray Dean Reese. I hope The Kingsmen come back to the Middle TN area soon.

Anytime we can gather together and praise our Jesus it is wonderful. The music was so loud you could not hear the words of the song. Truly enjoyed the songs sung without the music because we could hear the words of the songs. The facilities was wonderful.

The Mighty Kingsmen Quartet were awesome! They had several new members who did an amazing job! They sang a lot of new songs, but threw in some of the Kingmen classics as well. Great concert. The Younts Center is a beautiful venue with spacious seats and clean facilities. Great overall experience there!

Everyone at this event was welcoming and friendly from the minute I got to the door! The crowd was sprinkled throughout the seating, but filled up to greet the Kingsmen. It didn't take them long to get the crowd on their feet. About three songs in they sang "Victory Shout" that everyone had been waiting for. Bob Sellers was with the group, and a new young man with a great bass voice joined in too. It was a great day of music, with the Kingsmen, Jayden's Call, excellent groups from the church and John Bowman ending things on a high note. Thank you Fellowship Church Creekside!

Pretty church!! Hadn't ever been there before but we saw a friend of mine from the high school I graduated from. She was the school's nurse. Sweet lady!!! The Kingsmen KILLED IT as ususal!!! SO GOOD seeing Andrew Goldman (formerly Perrys) filling in lead & meeting Bro. Laney that's helping out on bass some.

This was my first Kingsmen Quartet concert, and I was impressed. I did notice that many in attendance were elderly, and they reacted to the first song as if the music was too loud. I love Southern Gospel, and was familiar with almost every song. I was slightly disappointed in the small crowd.

Concert was really good. I realize this venue was a small, country church, but it was sad to see so many empty pews. I know you can't make people do what they don't want to do, but this is alarming. So many people who attended were older, and the high volume of some sounds seemed to hurt their ears. I love music and my hearing is great, but I also realize that this changes with age.

If you missed it, you REALLY missed out! The Kingsmen and Gold City sang their hearts out and did a wonderful job! If either group is near me again, I plan to attend. If both groups are there to sing together on the second half, I will be there on the front row!

It was a full house in Seneca for a great show! You’d hardly know that Dabo Swinney was in the gymnasium immediately behind us had it not been for a packed parking lot outside. It was us however who were lifting up the ‘Victory Shout’! Ray was on the money on bass delivering exactly what I would expect, but the surprise of the evening was this new guy, Bob from Alabama. Bob got the solo spot on ‘Midnight Cry’, the last song of the evening, and you could see all the artists on stage smiling and nodding with acceptance and joy. Welcome to the family Bob!

Fun. Best version of the Kingsmen, I think. I would have sent everyone away with one last - leave in a high note - post alter call, crowd favorite, song. Aside from that I wouldn’t have it any different. High energy show, heavenly harmonies, heavily weighted with songs off the last two albums, Great t-shirt to buy at the end. Two thumbs up!
