My Chemical Romance

What we witnessed wasn’t just a concert; it was a resurrection, a theatrical revival of a world we first fell into back in 2006. Soldier Field became Draag, a fictional fascist nation where the Black Parade marched once more, and we were swept into its storyline. To hear the entire Black Parade album played front-to-back in that setting, the chaos, the nostalgia, the catharsis, it felt like both a fever dream and a homecoming. The surprises kept us on edge all night. Pyrotechnics and towering flames erupted like punctuation marks to every chorus. The production wasn’t just big; it was cinematic. A spectacle that made you feel small and infinite at the same time. And then, when most bands would have wrapped things up, they hit us with an encore that stretched nearly an hour. That alone felt like a gift, like they weren’t done writing the night into our bones. I left Soldier Field not just grateful but in awe. To say this show was special doesn’t even touch it. It was history, theater, and pure musical chaos rolled into one: a night where the Black Parade lived again, louder and brighter than ever.

Easily one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The showmanship and stage show were out of this world, everything was choreographed incredibly well and flowed perfectly. The second half of the show is on the B-stage, which was an interesting but welcome creative choice, and they dropped the Black Parade clothes and truly became themselves. Gerard's live vocals are also notably different from the records but I enjoyed his harsher vocals.

I’m not very great at public speaking or getting my thoughts into words. I know what I mean in my head. 😊This concert did not disappoint !!! I was in the higher up seats and would see this over and over again if I was able to !!! I had waited 20 years to see them and I finally did !!! I felt like I was in my 20’s again. I was there for the world premiere song and the crowd was hanging on every note, every word. It was so quiet. It was a moment that will never be forgotten. Thank you for giving me that moment and making the whole experience worth it. The band was awesome. However there were issues at the actual stadium itself. I parked a mile away and my 3 teen daughters and I walked. We were great at the stadium going in. They had people clearly helping you with where to go and watching lines. It wasn’t until we were leaving the stadium inside it got bad. We even had waited 20 minutes before leaving our seats when even staff basically said it was time to go. I know they need to clean and get home but it’s nice to wait until it clears up a little. The stairs got packed. People got rude. My daughter was letting some people in the stairway and another teen pushed my 17 yr old daughter. I guess the teen was upset because my daughter was being nice. My daughter blocked herself from being pushed a second time by the same teen. My daughter never touched her except for physically protecting herself. The mom of that teen moved her daughter and got in my daughter’s face. I was a few feet away and it was hard to get to my daughter. We were packed in. I shoved all my kids to the side and got between them and the mom the best I could. She was yelling at my kid saying “we’re not pushing you”. So I said “why are you yelling then, just walk and go ahead “ she glared and I said “your holding everyone up, let’s go” We wound up behind her down a few flights of stairs. She would look up at us, stop and glare at us, giving us attitude for no reason. Again I would tell her “your holding people up - let’s go “ If there had been better security or people guiding us out of the stadium, that probably wouldn’t have happened. So why this is 5 stars for the band, I would give it 3 stars for the way people were handled on the way out.

The first and last time i saw MCR was when I was still 7. I’m from Indonesia and just moved here for work, the moment I learned that there will be N2, i bought the ticket immediately and went to the stadium by myself. It was majestic. The best night of my life. The energy was still the same, the same MCR i knew in my childhood. The fans there also are very friendly, they welcomed me in when they saw me i came alone.

This was not only my first MCR concert…but also my first stadium concert. And HOLY CRAP! When I tell you that I was completely BLOWN AWAY, that expression doesn’t even do it justice. Having this experience at the iconic Dodger Stadium was really something special, especially since I have deep family roots in LA. Seeing the San Gabriel mountains clearly in the background was also a real treat. Wallows, the opening band, did a fantastic performance!! Absolutely loved their sound and energy. You could tell that they were truly grateful to be there. Would love to see them again in the near future. MCR…holy moly…they looked and sounded incredible. The storyline and production for The Black Parade had me on the edge of my toes (since I was standing the entire time haha!) It even had me cracking up more than a few times. The excitement continued on when they came back for the second and final half of the show. When they played their unreleased song “War Beneath The Rain”, the energy of the entire stadium shifted into a form of awe. We really felt like we were a part of something groundbreaking. Mesmerizing. Impactful if you will. I’ll never forget that feeling. They expressed countless times how grateful they all were to be there. We could hear it in their music, we could see it from the smiles on their faces, and we could absolutely feel it. That really warmed my heart. I’m still smiling from ear to ear. My Chemical Romance… Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!! Would love to see you again in the near future 🖤❤️🤍

The performances were electric, awesome, memorable! We had lots of fun. The only down side was the parking. and leaving the venue. It took us 2- hours to get through the parking gates. Staff was disorganized They couldn’t seem to have the tickets you leave in your windshield. It took us another 2 hours to get out of the cluster parking because the people guiding were a a mess. They couldn’t direct traffic. I’ve attended many Dodger games the traffic runs smooth, but this was different. It was a cluster!

I absolutely have loved every last second of this concert!!! They had the violent femmes open, who were amazing as well, and an intermission with a cello player who is a friend of Gerard’s that played the most haunting, beautiful song. If you have a chance to go to any of the dates on this tour, DO NOT PASS IT UP!!! Seattle’s show was the first stop and sold out, and the show has been nothing short of epic.

Excellent line-up. Good to see the band follow MCR law and play the Black Parade because it was the absolute best track ever to hear live. 10/10 will see MCR again if and when they return. Only downside for the venue is the lack of lighting once the lights on stage go out after the show since the attendee's night vision will be affected by the large screens and flashing lights. Otherwise, a most epic show and very well planned out.

The highlight of my life honestly. I’ve loved MCR since I was 12/13 and getting tickets to their return tour was incredible. I was quite far away and unfortunately the screens at MK stadium were really small so I couldn’t see much, but I still had the time of my life. Hearing Our Lady of Sorrows and Thank You For The Venom live for the first time was a borderline religious experience. I’d give anything to go back, or have them come back the the UK.

fucking amazing!!! i cried so many times i can't even count. ever since i've gone i replay the concert like every single day in my brain, i'd actually do anything to go back. amazing set list and amazing song choice, i'm so incredibly lucky i got to see my favorite band of all time live. i highly recommend. i really hope they do more shows, especially in ATL. literally can't express how lucky i was i was able to go since they originally were going to music midtown (i couldnt go) but then they cancelled and toured instead and i was able to! love mcr with all my heart <3

so amazing !! the atmosphere was insane, everyone took care of each other and the band made sure we were all okay; lots of water handed out and above all else: the performance was perfect! i wasnt sure how good my chemical romance would be after so long but they lived up to high expectations and put on a great show with energy, humour and nostalgia. not only were they good but the opening bands were also amazing, set the energy (and the bar) so high for the main gig :) would recommend everyone able to go see mcr !!!

Best show I’ve been to. Ever! MCR has such a strong stage presence and I knew my sister and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see them live when I saw they were coming to Denver. I have been a fan since middle school and going to this concert was a dream come true. It’s going to be hard for me to get over what an amazing show this was. Thank you, MCR, you have changed my life!!

You are really asking me how this concert was?? ? What planet do you live on? Lol! No, Seriously, it was an experience of a lifetime, although I do most earnestly hope it wasn't my last. I was about 1/4 way from the top. Plus, I would have liked it louder. ( no need to apologize, G. You said you guys needed to tone ot down little.! Lol) Fantastic concert, lots of security, which was great.

Oh dear, it was truly mesmerizing… The entire band was amazing and showed us so much love. Gerard went all out for Montreal. Bloody tears running down his cheeks with those big lenses, dark black hair falling down his face and wearing a tight blouse. Giving raw emotion and screams just being completely out of this world. It was also amazing to see all the fans gathered and the diversity in the styles and old merch I wish I could’ve gotten my hands on lol. I really need to see them again and hope they will keep on doing more over the years to come. If you get the chance do not miss out on MCR :) BON THE FUCK JOUR

Literally everytime I blink I see Gerard in that cheerleader uniform. It won’t leave my brain. No thoughts, head empty, only cheerleader Gerard. If my grades start slipping I am 100% blaming Gerard Way for refusing to leave my mind. Anyways…on a serious note, this was an amazing show. I felt so hyped up through the entire thing. This is easily one of the best shows I’ve been to, and I’ll remember it forever. 10/10 would see again

Manon meurt seemed scared of the crowd. They have good musics but their opening was quite disappointing. Other than that, the crowd in Prague can be quite underwhelming even when the artists are amazing. But the crew was fantastic and ready to help at any time. The energy from the band was fantastic and we had the chance to hear Heaven help us for the 1st time since 2008 !!! (Sorry destroya) it was amazing and surreal to see mcr in 2022, felt like a glitch in the timeline. Thank you for everything

It was the best experience I've ever been to! The crowd were all singing along, the setlist was amazing and it was just lovely to finally see My Chemical Romance HAPPY on stage. They are having a lot of fun, and so does the crowd. The merchandise was not cheap at all, but the quality is good. The show was entertaining with a little bit of humour. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back as soon as they tour again!

Amazing concert! I had the time of my life, it was a real blast. Lots of singing along, belting out the lyrics like in the good old days. They played all the classics and the band was playing really good. It was the first time ever seeing them live and they definitely didn’t disappoint! They proved why I see them as the nirvana of my generation. Time of my life! Great memory to look back to when I’m older

🤯🤯🤯. Litterally the best show of my life. As one of the few not 16 year olds there who has seen and grew up with this band, it was surreal to see them back together and crushing it. And honestly, thank you so much to all the newcomers who saw them the first time. You all brought that same energy we had when we were kids and saw them the first time, so hell yeah.
