About Girard
Frédéric B. Girard a fait ses débuts en tant que membre fondateur du groupe indie/alternatif Monogrenade (La saveur des fruits EP 2008, Francofolies 2010, Francouvertes 14ième édition). Après avoir quitté le groupe en 2010, il fonde à Québec le trio rock KPLR (Matière grise EP 2012, Déséquilibre 2014, Francouvertes 17ième édition) avec lequel il rencontre un fort succès critique. À l'automne 2015, sous le pseudonyme de GIRARD, il entame l'enregistrement d'un premier album solo intitulé Chute libre, opus folk/pop/orchestral marquant un point de transition vers une forme d'expression musicale plus intime et lyrique.
