Top Notch performance. Peter has defied "father time" with an energetic performance, a strong voice and youthful exuberance. Portsmouth Music Hall provided a small, intimate environment with a good view of the stage and excellent sound system. Show duration was just under 2 hours.

I have seen the J. Geils Band about 10 times in my youth. I have not seen them or Peter perform in 40 years and thought I'd see them once again and take my wife for her first time. I went and remembered why Peter and the J. Geils band made me love music. Peter proved why he is the most underrated singers in music and gave a master class in how to work the crowd and the stage at 80 years old. A band made of A+ musicians and Peter's ad-living the show makes for a night of music you will never forget. This is how music was meant to be performed live. If you go see one show in your life go see him whatever music tastes are this is a must. It should be a requirement for avery aspiring young singer should check out to learn how to get the crowd involved. With over 100 concerts under my belt, I like almost all genres of music. Thank You Peter for being number 1.

I didn't see him here but have seen him at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, the Cabot Theater in Beverly and Blue Ocean Club in Salisbury as well as 17 times with the J Geils Band Best front man ever

Peter moves around like a 20 year old and his voice is still amazing! Great performer! His band was fantastic, too.

Wow. It was a house party! The band was exceptional and woofa goofa has not lost an octave in his voice. High energy!

Dude the man's 79 years old and he's still kicking a*s he moved around the stage like somebody half his age.

Excellent show! Amazing energy and great interaction with the crowd. Band was super tight and sound was clean.

The program was a very good discussion of Peter’s autobiography that included an autograph signing afterwards. I was intrigued by Peter’s version of the break-up of J Geils which was a small part of the book and program. This is in part because all parties in the split never trashed each other over the years which terrific. I saw harmonica genius of Geils Magic D**k say on a youtube interview that Seth Justman and Peter were like “oil and water” and that also fueled their creativity. The spilt was a falling out between those two. Anyway, I’ve been a dedicated fan of Peter Wolf and J Geils Band and appreciated his wonderful presentation of his autobiography at the Philly Library.

Great interview and then an hour of Q and A. He is a great storyteller. Can’t wait to read the book.

An amazing night with a wonderful Artis that will make you laugh and also touch your soul deeply! I recommend Peter’s book 100% ….you won’t be able to put it down!

Pete got hit by a cyclist that wasn't paying attention earlier in the day so he was dealing with pain. He wasn't' able to take pictures, but he still showed up !

What a treat it was to see the Legend of Peter Wolf! His story telling was brilliant, and his voice sounded amazing. Add 2 guitar virtuosos, and it equals an extremely special event.

An amazing night with a man that has been my musical muse for 30 years. Rams head is an intimate venue and was lovely. Met the great Duke Levine and got my picture with Peter.
