About Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi
Over a decade ago, Kid Cudi dubbed himself “The Man on the Moon” with good reason. Since 2008, the Grammy Award®-winning multi-platinum trailblazer and trendsetter has cast his influence over hip-hop like a lunar glow. Celebrated by everyone from Kanye West to Travi$ Scott, his 2009 full-length debut, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, has earned double-platinum certification from the RIAA. Cudi followed up with the platinum selling 2010 album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Recognized as a vital force in pop culture and music, 2012 saw him win “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for “All of the Lights” at the GRAMMYS®. Indicud captured his highest chart entry on the Billboard Top 200, bowing at #2 and yielding a platinum-selling favorite “Just What I Am” a year later. Selling over 20 million singles worldwide, his has influence only expanded exponentially with time.
2016’s PASSION, PAIN & DEMON SLAYIN’ marked a fiery return to form. “Baptized In Fire” [feat. Travi$ Scott] generated a staggering 39 million streams in six months. His sixth studio offering also drew praise from Complex, Billboard, Pitchfork, and The Fader, while XXL placed it among the “50 Best Hip Hop Projects of 2016.” He scorched late night TV with a powerhouse performance of “Kitchen” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon accompanied by a string orchestra.
He reunited with West on the 2018 psychedelic hip-hop-rock opus KIDS SEE GHOSTS. The union of these two innovators sent shockwaves throughout the culture. Not only did the record bow at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, but it garnered widespread acclaim from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, XXL, Vice, The Guardian, and Entertainment Weekly. As the project took off, Cudi also graced the cover of Billboard.
Beyond his prolific musical output, he’s also appeared on the big and small screen. Not only would he lead HBO’s How to Make It in America and IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang!, but he also starred in Need for Speed, Entourage, and more.

What fans are saying
Everything from the warmup band, to OutKast, to Cudi’s concert was phenomenal. Kid Cudi was smiling through the whole thing and really put his heart into entertaining his fans. He did his old songs and made the whole event entertaining. The atmosphere was so lively with the crowd and you could tell the entertainers were feeling it and leading it. As for the venue, the uber drop off spot was a 10 minute walk to actually get inside the venue where the music was. As for the ushers at the event, some were having a blast, super helpful and accommodating, and very nice when having to ask people to go back to their seats when standing in the isle (fire hazards). While a couple of them power tripped very hard and were very rude to fans throughout the show about a lot of small things. The people at the event were all easy going and having a blast. The drinks were great but expensive. $30 dollars for mason jar cocktails (extremely strong though!). I can hold my own when it comes to alcohol and those were some of the strongest cocktails I’ve had from an event! 10/10 for taste and alcohol content. Also there are many selections of beer and seltzers that are way cheaper. We also tried the kettle corn and pretzel with queso. Both were great and the queso was absolutely phenomenal.

Awesome time. Kid Cudi and Big Boi helped kick off summer with energetic setlists. Opener Chip the Ripper was great in hyping up the crowd as well as the two deejays that followed. Crowd was enthusiastic and festive. Definitely good way to kick off summer.

A-Trak did a great job of hyping the crowd; Big Boi was flawless and brought allll the OutKast hits - a true highlight to this whole show! Kid Cudi was awesome, as expected! He came on much later than anticipated so we didn’t get to see the whole show, but what we saw was 🔥
M.I.A. was such a weird downer. She did this awkward religious set, threatened to fire someone in her crew, had sound issues, started songs then skipped past them, and barely sang any of the lyrics when she finally played Paper Planes. I don’t understand why she’s on this tour and definitely don’t get why she performed after Big Boi / before Cudi. It would be a much better tour if they cut her.
