About Funkranomicon

From the Santa Cruz Mountains comes the modern Funk and Soul powerhouse known as Funkranomicon. Funkranomicon writes dynamic, high energy, hip, contemporary, Funk and Soul music. The band has played numerous festivals including the main stage of the San Jose Jazz Festival where they opened for The Ohio Players. Members include Joe “Junior” Neto on the vo- cal cords, Scott “The Shredder” Polland slingin’ the six string, Warren “WaddyP” Paradise on keys, Pete "Pedro" Novembre holding down the bottom end and Tim “TDub” Welch on the tubs.

Their most recent CD “Book of Funk” was produced by Milton Davis who has produced artists such as The Neville Brothers, Brandy and The New Mastersounds.

Band trivia - the band gets its name from “The Necronomicon”, a fictional book appearing in the stories by horror novelist H. P. Lovecraft and his followers.
