Emily Cole

COLE is pop/alternative singer/songwriter playing shows in the greater Houston area. She accompanies herself with guitar, ukulele, keys; she plays as a solo artist, as a duo, as well as with her full band when venue calls for it. In October, 2015, COLE released her self-titled debut album, Emily Cole. Many hours went into this project which was produced at Music World Studios and Lucky Run Studios, in Houston, TX. During this time, she had the pleasure of working with great influences such as: ​ *Chris Chimene, Co-Write Partner; *Grammy Nominated Engineer Nino Villanueva (engineered album); *Theresa Yow, Founder and Vocal Coach @ Theresa Yow Music, Founder of Camp Praise *Eddie Ferguson, Jr., Producer at both studios (recently managed/managing projects alongside Mr. Matthew Knowles of Music World Productions and Max Gousse of Def Jam) COLE has residence gigs she plays often, and she is also open to new venues. She also loves playing festivals and is very involved playing for benefits and charity events, raising money for those less fortunate than most, due to life threatening illnesses. More about COLE COLE has always loved to sing, and she actually hummed and sang before she could talked. In her Junior High years, she had fun doing karaoke with friends and would visit Karaoke Bill almost every week! In August, 2012, she started playing showcases at Dosey Doe and Main Street Crossing with a songwriters group (RLRM). In 2013, she started playing solo during other musicians shows while they took their breaks (Brade & Hurst @ Mama J's is one). She also attended open mic's which gave her experience with being on stage. In August, 2014, she moved into doing her own shows, anywhere from 1 to 4 hr gigs. She also played for events such as festivals and charity, helping raise money for finding a cure for childhood cancer. COLE's debut single, titled "Stayed Strong,"" was written for her cousin, who at the age of 13, had already fought the nasty battle twice and beat it both times. All proceeds from this song go to her cousin and his family who are donating it to a charity to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
